  • Tony Carpentieri is a co-author of the book Hardy and Hardy Investigations, and is one of the owners of SynSine Press.

  • Michael G. Cornelius, Ph.D. is a department chair at Wilson College and specializes in early British literature. Dr. Cornelius is an award-winning novelist, penning the works Creating Man (Vineyard Press, 2001) and the popular parody novel Susan Slutt, Girl Detective (co-authored with Kate Emburg, Vineyard Press, 2003). His work for SynSine Press includes The Vicki Barr Encyclopedia. He has also published short fiction in numerous journals, magazines, and anthologies.

  • Robert L. Crawford wrote The Lost Hardys: A Concordance.

  • Kate Emburg is the president of the Society of Phantom Friends. In addition to being the author of The Adventures of Susan Slut for SynSine and the follow-up, Susan Slutt, Girl Detective for Vineyard Press, she has also penned a new Judy Bolton book, The Whispering Belltower from Amereon Ltd.

  • Melanie Knight is the author of Schoolgirl SAhamuses, Inc., and one of the authors of The Adventures of Susan Slut.

  • Paul Mular is a co-author of the book Hardy and Hardy Investigations.

  • The Society of Phantom Friends was founded in 1985 by fans of Margaret Sutton's Judy Bolton series. Since then, the group has expanded its scope to cover all girls' fiction, both old and new. The group's newsletter is The Whispered Watchword.
